Childminding
I am registered with OFSTED and have been inspected by them to ascertain suitability.
I have completed the ICP course and hold a first aid certificate.
I am a member of the National Childminding Association and hold my public liability insurance with them.
I am NNEB qualified
I have done training in the new Early Years foundation stage and plan all my activities on the childs individual stages of development.
I have a full list of policies in place that are available to view and you will also receive a copy on taking up a place with me.

I attend regular training courses to ensure these policies are kept up to date.
Activities
Activities are planned according to the childs age and stage of development and they range from structured, supervised group activities, to quiet individual activities.
I have a monthly planner on display so that parents can see what the children have been doing and a daily diary which the child take home.

Outings
I will try to take the children out everyday to enjoy the local suroundings and gain new experiences. Outings are dependant on weather and childrens arrival and collection times. If an outing is not possible then the children have use of the rear garden which is sheltered.

Food and nutrition
Snacks and meals are freshly prepared and are nutritious and healthy. I am happy to cater for any special dietry requirements and allergies.
Fees cover snacks, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is an additional extra.

Breakfast - Cereal or toast
am Snack - Fruit and breadsticks
Lunch - Jacket potato and baked beans with salad
pm Snack - vegetable sticks, yoghurt
Tea - Homemade shepherds pie with peas
Water is freely available throughout the day, other drinks will be offered at mealtimes, including Milk, flavoured milk, squashes and fruit juices.
